Peanut Butter Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

IMG_0316

Dirty old bananas, 100% pure peanut butter, and chocolate chips are three of my favourite things. This is especially true when I can use all three in the same recipe to concoct a moist, delicious, and tasty peanut butter banana bread with mini chocolate chips on top! If you are thinking that dirty old bananas don’t sound very appealing, than you are thinking exactly what I was just thinking! How could something that looks so disgusting, so slippery (for all those folks who still think banana peels make you slip :)), and unappealing be SOO GOOD in banana bread, banana bars, or even banana muffins?  Continue reading

IMG_0582

Mmmmmm, St.Patricks Day. This year, instead of sitting around and thinking about all the delicious baked goods out there with green icing and green sprinkles on them, I decided that I would take action and do a little baking myself. I mean, out of the loop. Continue reading

This time it was much more low key and I was making them for a small family gathering at Christmas. Regardless of whether you are making these peppermint whoopies for your own wedding or for some friends and family, they are guaranteed to be a hit and you will constantly have people reminding you to make some more!  Continue reading

Health. What is the first thing that you think about when you read this word? Personally, I think about push-ups, Arnold, gym junkies, cookies, and the 21st century. I can’t get over how much people talk about their health, their friend’s health, and the neighbors dog’s health these days. Why can’t we just eat food without thinking of <—- that word? Gluten Free Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

I know what you are thinking, finally The Male Baker comes up with a recipe that I can eat! This is my first gluten free baking experiment and boy did they turn out great! They were all devoured within 2 hours of taking them out of the oven which tells ya something about these cookies. After just taking one bite, I fell in complete and instant love with these peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. And to boot, they have no flour! They are simple, fast, and chewy!
